We are on the waiting list!

I received word from our coordinator that our dossier had been received. We are now officially on two lists. They apparently keep a list of families waiting for girls and a list of families waiting for boys. If you state no preference, you get put on both lists. So, we'll get a referral off of whichever list gets to our name first. Like I said before, the last I heard, the list waiting for boys was much smaller if not non-existent, so I would definitely imagine that list will get to our name first unless they have a flood of girls come through.

They will review our dossier next, but they said that doesn't effect our position on the waiting list, even if they find we need to make corrections. We can be still making corrections after the referral; however, the longer it takes to do those things, the longer it will be until we can travel. So, hopefully, there will be few or no issues to resolve.

I'm telling myself that it will most likely be a a few weeks just so I don't go to nuts waiting for the phone to ring. Not sure it's working. :-)
