It's official

Daron and I officially withdrew our application with our first agency today. The program manager was very nice about it all and is sending our dossier back to us via Fedex either today or tomorrow. I do think she is doing some things to get their program back on track, but since we are fairly far down their list of applicants, it would still be several months even if she does have some success. I was very glad to be able to sever ties on a friendly note.

I am filling out the application for the new agency tonight. I should get it mailed off tomorrow, so hopefully we'll have some contact with a coordinator there later next week. I imagine it will take a couple weeks to get approved and into their system. After that, we were told it was generally 1-3 weeks for a referral, but could be shorter or longer.
