That was fast

I just mailed the application to the new agency on Friday, and we already received an email from them today! In the email, we were welcomed aboard, and we were given a username and password to a private website created for their adopting families. Looking through the information in the private website, it looks like our dossier documentation will work for them. In fact our old agency required one or two more documents than they do, so if anything we have more than we need. I should be able to get everything mailed off this week, unless there is something else of which I'm not aware. Once they receive the dossier, we will be put on their waiting list. Even if we have to correct some document, we will still be on the list.

Officially, they state that once we are on the list the wait could be anywhere from zero to 3 months for a referral. As I said before, the last person I spoke with said it would likely be much quicker than that.
