Waiting for news

Sorry I haven't posted recently, but unfortunately, there is really nothing to report. We now also have our Power of Attorney submitted (it should arrive in Guatemala this week), but it has to be translated and certified, which can take several weeks. This document is needed to be submitted to Family Court, so we don't anticipate that happening very soon.

We also haven't heard anything about whether authorization for DNA testing has been requested yet. That was said to take about 2-4 weeks and we're just reaching the 2 week point. Hopefully we'll hear more about that this week.

Lastly, I've heard that we'll receive new pictures and a report of his latest measurements on a monthly basis. It seems that most people at our agency receive these items in the 2nd-3rd week of the month; however, I have heard that some people did not receive pictures the first month after they accepted the referral. Therefore, I do not know if we'll get more pictures in the next week or two or if we'll have to wait another month. I really hope it's sooner rather than later (I guess that one's obvious!).

In the meantime, I've been keeping busy with a project at work and my garden. That helps the time move a little faster, but this wait is still excruciating!
