We're in PGN, we're pretty sure...

I spoke with our coordinator this morning and he said he has verbally been told we are in PGN, but we weren't on the last attorney report. He has a call into our attorney to get the actual date on which we entered PGN. Hopefully we'll get the official word soon. In the meantime, I'm a little hesitant to celebrate too much yet. Just feeling a little paranoid that he was mistaken.

I have now spoken to the foster mother 3 times! The first two times were while I was traveling for work, so Daron hadn't gotten to hear Adan. However, last night we called again with the help of a translator and he was able to hear his beautiful laugh, too!

We found out he still doesn't have any teeth and isn't yet crawling, but rolls around a lot. She said he eats formula, cereal, and mashed up fruits and vegetables. He apparently also likes to be hung upside down in play.

I'm so happy we're establishing a relationship with the foster family. Adan is their first foster baby, so they are getting sad that the time to send him home with us is getting closer. I hope that if they can get to know us, it will be a little easier for them. I also told them that I would keep them updated on his progress in the future. We have established communication via email as well, so it should be easy to send her pictures and updates. They do also have a younger foster baby that is about 3 months younger than him, and she clarified that her daughter is actually 10 years old rather than 7 as I was originally told.

I'll keep you posted on the PGN updates. Please help us pray for a speedy process and no kickouts. I can't believe this may actually be getting close to a homecoming.
